I did not want to make it a big deal, but yes i really do!!! Cause I’m going for the Global Brand Forum and all thanks to McCann for sending me to the workshop that allowed me to meet with the speaker and from there a bigggggggggg thank you to Mr Karthik Siva himself who is the CEO of the Global Brand Forum.
I’m going to enjoy this forum, just simply because I am going to be listening to extremely well knowledgeable people who have been in the branding and marketing industry for a long time and of course the one I’m most looking forward to is hearing Al Gore speak.
Even as much as some people think there maybe under lying intentions to what he is doing now, doesn’t matter what they are, but just purely from hearing him speak via his film in Inconvenient Truth and looking at the other works that he has done. I’d hate to think if all that has an underlying agenda. Even still no one can deny that he has single handedly managed to finally tell people about the situation of Global Warming. Aat least now people are more aware of the issue and there are bodies and companies that are helping to make that difference.
Back to the Global Brand Forum, it’ll be held this coming 6th August till 7th August in Singapore, at the Ritz Carlton, Millenia. It is going to burn a whole in my pocket making the trip down, but what I shall witness and hear will last me for a lifetime.
Yes I’m excited!!!!!!!!!
The list of speakers are as such
AL GORE
The former US Vice President, Politician, Teacher, Businessman, Author, Environmentalist and Oscar Winner
JOHN QUELCH

NIGEL PARSONS

In the mean time, can anyone pleaseeee advice me where would be best to stay other than Ritz as I will probably not have any money to eat or sustain me by the time I get back lol. I really wish I could stay back at Fernloft the backpacking place but, my friend David isn’t there anymore. =(
