Aronil - Tony’s Burfday

The story of a 29-er about to hit 30. Well he ain’t 30 yet but … sooooonn :P

Tony is probably one of the funniest people I have ever met in my entire life. I met him at KLPAC during auditions for Ismail, he happens to also be the guitarist for one of my all time favoutire local singers Juwita Suwito. Which i only got to know like much later on during the Ismail rehearsals.

Anyway, this funny dude turned 29 not too long ago, and he wanted a huge bash for his burfday! So Min Li and Nick spent quite a day getting things ready for him on Friday the 30th of May.

I arrived late that day but didn’t quite matter since the party was going to go on till very very late :P. THe party was held at Nick Dorian’s house and we had a bunch of food laid out all over the place. Ranging from BBQ chicken, really good tasting lamb which came very late, baked potatoes, mee hoon, cheese cake, oreo cheese cake, chocolate cake - ooooooo, watermelon which everyone thought had vodka in it and last but not least jelly with actually vodka in it! Sheeesh

Min Li and Nick went hunting for Tony’s present and ended not only getting him one but also a huge card, that everyone could sign.
Oooh oooh and here’s me signing it, Kerry- Anne also part of Ismail ensemble is at the back, chilling from too many vodka jellies. What the heck… who’s foot is that!!!!
Check out the birthday boy hehe. So many cakes! I went bonkers! Then Tony started telling all his weird stories which are a real laugh to anybody. He could be a stand up comedian. I promise you he can, his stories themselves are just way too farney and silly to be true. But they are! Like this one for example.

So after birthday boy gave his speech and story telling, we all dispersed around the house into groups to mingle. I ended up mingling with this crazy bunch.

Then again we are all crazy hahaha.

From there we had a new version of charades called act out the things that we have found hilarious. This is what we came up with. Nick I think doing the zapin.

It was loads of fun that night and we had some great laughs. Oh yeah before I forget, I shared a present with Min Li and Nick for Tony, which someone forgot to take picture of… aheemmmmm..

Nick and Min Li had picked out an alcohol dispenser in the shape of an old fashion gas pump. You fill’er up with whatever drink you want, alcohol, coke, water…watever and tada you pump up yourself with the drink with the pump! Even i want one haha. Yes Nick Dorian… it’s cool!
