The Real Me

Hi there my real name is Linora Low and welcome to my blogsite!

Thanks for popping over and even more so to the about page. For those who just want to know what I am or who I am, I’ll try to shorten it to just a few words.

Outrageously-Fun-and-Loving, Geek and Believer-Of-God.

I have a keen interests on everything that is around me and can be too enthusiastic for my own good. Mainly for the performing arts, sports and of course the web or anything to do with something mechanical. I admit very much to be a techno-sexual freak of nature.

Of late, I’ve been getting a lot of why do you use Aronil when you already have a name like Linora.

How did Aronil start?

Well it all began when I first met Mister G. We were just hanging out during rehearsal with other people and then he was saying it would be interesting if I turned my name around and it would still make another name. Actually i tried it before long ago, but i just let it die off. It wasn’t until he mentioned that which was when i decided using it again as a nickname.

From there well it kinda got stuck on me and I grew to like it. I mostly use it though for online stuff, so if you were to google aronil or yahoo it. You’ll find a bunch of stuff related with it, which is mostly all my accounts or something. It’s a fun name though and it’s even cooler cause i get to to mess with people’s heads and tell them it’s Linora on the first go and then Aronil on the next.. hehee

The Pass Job

I was with an advertising agency, McCann Erickson working as a Brand Planner and pranced around as a pretty geek. lol.

The Performer In Me

But now on most of my time, I made a mad decision to go into performing arts full time, which means me as an performer - actor, dancer or singer. Although out of the three I’m concentrating more on acting right now. I don’t want to say I’ve been bitten by the bug, rather it’s what I’ve always wanted to do since I was younger to get into this really really tough field, which in this country doesn’t pay much. There is no glamour in it, rather I do it because it is rewarding to me in its own ways. Most importantly I want to do it for God’s Glory. God has given us voice and bodies which I believe can be put to good use in the field of performing.

The Freelancer On the Side

Having said that, I also offer my services to whoever that needs it in the field of graphic designing (mostly) and webdesigning - which ranges from print materials such as posters, brochures, leaflets to online needs like blogs and corporate websites. My knowledge of programs range mostly from the Adobe Suite which I am in total awe and love. Programs I have become familiar with are :

Adobe Photoshop CS3
Adobe Illustrator CS3
Adobe Dreamweaver CS3
Adobe Indesign

On to other programs though that I’ve come to admire and have to say is a complete must have is Camtasia Studio 5 and SnagIt. Camtasia can work as very basic yet powerful video editing software which also has audio editing functions as well. So if you need help with small video projects. I’ll be more than willing to see how I can accommodate some time.
