Splitting this in too a three part story. I’ll start off first with me getting to Singapore on Friday afternoon. I had bought a bus ticket from Aeroline online for RM164 for a return ticket from KL (Chorus Hotel) -> Singapore (Harbourfront Plaza). Mom and Nessa had sent me to Chorus Hotel which was the drop and pick up point for those heading down to Singapore. I have never been so happy to hear a traveling point that is close to home.

Getting there took about half an hour and thankfully no jam. I was hanging about at the Chorus hotel lounge to get my free coffee which came with the Aeroline ticket and grabbed meself a hotdog bun too, since I had zilch to eat that day. And was more worried about getting my documents right, my piano score right and getting my voice/head used to the lyrics for the audition the next day.

Before I go on, i have to say the Cab Comfort line is so cool! All i need to do if i need transport is just call the cab line 65521111. They actually remember where was the last stop off and the usual place you always get picked up from. Omg! So cool! It was so ‘comforting’ to hear “Press 1 for Mount Emily” or “Press 2 to be picked up in front of 84, Coronation Road”. I wish for the day that Malaysia has a cab system like that.

I want to wish everyone A Blessed Easter today…

Some of us would like to think that everything is happy wappy, it’s about the easter bunny coming his way to give away colourful eggs, in big baskets and to look for hidden chocolate bunnies in the grass. Yeah it sounds like a child book fairy tale or fantasy….

To be honest I don’t think I should have put the easter bunny on the header, because in truth that isn’t what easter about. It’s not about the cute bunnies or the colourful eggs. One can read more of how Easter came to be here.

It is about us humans on this earth, realising that we have actually been saved and we have something to hope for on this painful plane we call home for now. This was the time of the last few days before Jesus was crucified on the cross and it was by his blood drained from Him that we the sinners of the world can have the chance to be connected with our Loving Creator up in the heavens. The story gets happier, for Jesus did not die but rose from the grave and was reunited with His friends for a while before returning to His Father’s side.

That thought and fact needs to be reminded in my heart, for whatever it is that I have been busy with. God has been the one graciously providing, everytime when we think times are terrible, He’ll always be there to pick us up and walk with us. To bear our burdens and to leave it with Him. For He knows what is best and because He loves us, that is why even the pain we go through is worth the wait.

As some of you might know. I’m away for Christmas this year… again. I usually hold Christmas open house at my place in KL. But for the past two years - this year included - I decided to spend time with my boyfriend’s family. Now that is all fine by me, it was entirely my decision, not him asking me and all to go with him back to Penang.

That said though, I don’t know why but I really miss home this time. I miss spending time with my family, I miss spending my Christmas with my superbly generous dad, my crazy mom, my overly noisy siblings, my repeating-every-question-again grandma, my aunt and most of all my doggies.

I remember the first time year we had Benji - my Australian Silky Terrier, it was so cute, we bought the little fella a gift for Christmas. Wrapped it up and al, and he was so excited - as much as a dog can be, anyway - to get his gift. He took it in his mouth and started ripping the wrapping paper. Needless to say, he got very protective of the present and started growling at us. Hahahaha.

But just spending it here. I miss the stuff i used to do with family… may it be a dinner or something… I still miss their company. I mean I love it here in Penang. It’s a slower pace compared to the hustle and bustle of KL. And I love Giden’s family and their new family member, Abbey heheh. It’s great to be near him, but gosh… i just feel like being at home….

I called them up and spoke with them for a bit, so I feel better. But I think next year I’ll make it a point to spend time with them. This is the only time of the year that I really enjoy. Maybe it’s also because I saw this episode, which I keep talking about from Gossip Girl. The episode entitled Roman Holiday. I mean despite the couples in the show, wanting to spend time with one another, they did it on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day, they spent it with their own families. Which was nice. Have a look.

Doens’t the video bring a tear to your eye…. I mean if anybody were to feel like home I’m feeling now… hehehe. Which would bring a little tear to me eye.

It’s exactly 12.34 am on my clock which means it’s Christmas DAY!!!Oh by the way did you notice the snow falling here on the site? Neat eh hehee. Now if only I could see real snow.

My Dining Room looks like this. I just love love love it! I don’t know about the rest of you but i wish I had a dining rom like this. I love the fireplace.. and I went mad when I saw the food that could be ‘purchased’. They look so drool - itically delicious.

I have me own Christmas Tree. The lights blink on my profile page.. so go have a look hehe.
